GNDC is working on a tool-share! Virtual Meeting 6 pm Sunday, Nov 22nd.
For those who keep track, our GNDC meeting is a week later than normal due to a conflict and so as to follow up on some research leads regarding our new priority – creating community resilience via building community resources – starting with tool libraries. Tool libraries are so you can check out tools you really don’t want to have to buy for one use, such as tampers, branch pruners, power drills, water sensors, energy drain meters, etc…
So we are meeting Sunday, Nov. 22nd, virtually, at 6 pm to talk about what we’ve found out so far about live, versus online networking tool shares, the DPR garden tool sharing program, potential partners, past and current tool libraries – what has worked and what hasn’t, and, on a fun note, insurance/waivers. If you are interested in joining the discussion, please join us!
Also, let us know if you’d like to contribute to the research in advance or after!
Email at greenneighborsdc@gmail.com, and I can send a zoom link for the meeting, or outline some questions we have.
