Another Arctic Plunge!
For the fifth year running, Green Neighbors is participating in the Chesapeake Climate Action Network Polar Bear Plunge at National Harbor in January. January 27th to be precise, when it really, really gets cold.
We are jumping into the freezing waters of National Harbor to raise money to help CCAN continue its fabulous work. If we raise enough we will be able to keep a portion for Green Neighbors to use on projects in our own neighborhood. We have some great plans for some local initiatives this spring, so if you can’t (or don’t want to :-o) plunge in freezing water, please join us for our 2018 monthly meetings, and help us green DC.
If you want to join us in taking the plunge, however (brrr), just click on the link below to become a member of our team and start fundraising….

….or you can also support our team by making a donation through this page: http://www.keepwintercold.org/ team/greenneighborsdc.
And be sure to forward this link to other potentially interested folks. If you want to learn more about the Plunge before participating, contact greenneighborsdc@gmail.com.
In the meantime: KEEP WINTER COLD!
